Halle Berry is wearing her hair in a long, curly hair style that features a side part.  To create this style on you own, first add a curl-enhancing gel or styling product to your hair.

Blow dry the hair using a diffuser attachment and just your fingers for shaping the hair.  Apply all over soft curls using a medium barrel curling iron. Spray shine hair product after finished to seal in the shine.

Pictured right, is a very short pixie hairstyle. The crown area has some layers that are slightly longer and the ends taper to just below ear level. This is a very bold hairstyle.

Create a piecey look, like Halle's, by applying small amounts of pomade to the ends of your fingers. Then gently apply the pomade to the ends of the hair using just your fingertips. Be careful not to apply too much pomade as this can lead to a greasy look.
