Curly updo hairstyles may be a little bit harder to create, but the end result is well worth the trouble. The curly updo, see photo left, is one of the most popular choices for prom hairstyles.

 

Apply all over curls using a medium barrel curling iron. Pull all hair. loosely, back and twist into a high chignon, leaving out small tendrils of hair to soften and frame the face.

 

 

Erika is wearing a very soft-looking updo hairstyle that features a few waves, deep side part and some fringe wavy hair that frames the face.

 

The hair is twitsted into a medium height chignon and pinned in place. Add long diamond earrings to the this hairstyle and look (and feel) like a million bucks.

 

 

 

Drew gives us another great example of the wavy updo hairstyle. Her hairstyle has that slightly messy look that believe it or not takes time to create. Wisps of hair are left out around the face and sides of the head. The strands are softly spiral curled for a loose look that sizzles.
