Another chameleon of hair styles is Keira Knightley.  She will go from long and wavy to short and layered. 

As you can see in the photo below, Keira has a short hair style that features very long layering.  This type of hair style will require frequent trims to keep the style looking good.  Once those layers start growing out, they won't look as good and probably won't lay properly on the head.

Create this style on your own by applying a volumizing product throughout the hair and blow drying it with a large round brush.  Direct all layers down and under, adding to the full look.
