Julianne is wearing a very sleek updohairstyle that features height in the crown area, no part and a low chignon. To create height in the crown area, first apply a root volumizer to the roots before blow drying. Direct the hair from one side to other as you blow dry. Next, take small sections of hair and gently back comb the hair, smoothing over the top with your fingers. Pull all of the hair back and twist into a low chignon.

 

 

 

 

 

 

This was a fantastic look for Julianne Hough at the 2008 American Music Awards Nominees press conference. Her light golden tresses had sexy layers cut through the back and sides to create a soft and sassy finish, making it easy for her loose waves to sit perfectly, and also to add movement to her ends.
